Valuation Report Service for Sales Transactions Involving Foreign Nationals
As per the circular numbered 2020/5(1905), issued by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, Department of Real Estate Valuation on 22.10.2020, it is mandatory to provide a real estate valuation report for all sales transactions where foreign nationals are involved as buyers or sellers.
These valuation reports, required for transactions defined by the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, are prepared according to the report format determined by the institution. The reports are developed in compliance with the standards outlined in the International Valuation Standards (IVS) and the TUDES-310 Good Practices Guide for Real Estate for Lending and Collateral Purposes, published by the Association of Appraisers of Turkey. Additionally, each report must include a statement declaring that the persons and institutions responsible for the valuation will bear any criminal or legal liability related to the entire content of the report.
